SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Court of Appeals has rejected a citizen group’s efforts to intervene in plans for a gas-fired power plant in Sevier County.
In a ruling handed down Thursday, the appeals court says Sevier Citizens for Clean Air & Water did not file the appropriate petition with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality to intervene in the permit approval process for Sevier Power’s new plant.
