CEDAR CITY, Utah – Two additional arrests have been made in connection with the alleged murder of a man in Cedar City about 10 days after the crime occurred.

Police initially arrested Angelo Seth Carrasco in the October 21 shooting, which occurred in the area of 100 East and 557 North, after eyewitnesses positively identified him as the perpetrator.

Shawn Leroy Multine, 45, was killed in the shooting.

Subsequent investigations have led to the arrest of 18-year-old Clarissa Bulletts and 29-year-old Eric Rodriguez. According to information from the Cedar City Police Department, Bulletts drove Carrasco and Rodriguez to the neighborhood where the shooting took place.

Police stated Rodriguez went into the home to attempt to lure the victim outside, where Carrasco was allegedly waiting with a high-powered rifle. That was not successful, and Bulletts then contacted the victim and attempted to lure him to an area where the two men were waiting. This was also unsuccessful.

The suspects then drove to another home in the area and attempted to yell at the victim to come outside. When the man did not come outside, police stated, Carrasco entered the home and shot the man.

Rodriguez and Carrasco fled the scene, and Rodriguez allegedly assisted with the disposal of the murder weapon. Bulletts transported the two out of the area. Police stated that both Rodriguez and Bulletts were interviewed in the days following the murder and that both had given testimony that hindered or delayed investigators.

Bulletts was previously Carrasco’s girlfriend, and the victim is her stepfather. The motive for the alleged murder remains under investigation.

Bulletts and Rodriguez were booked into the Iron County Correctional Facility, each on charges of murder and obstruction of justice. Rodriguez also faces a charge of aggravated burglary.
