Monday was the first day of a three-day statewide earthquake response drill.
Monday's drill simulated a response to a 6.0 magnitude quake followed by a 7.0 magnitude aftershock.
To put things in perspective, the massive San Francisco quake in 1989 measured a magnatude of 6.9 resulting in 63 deaths, thousands of injuries and an estimated $6-8 billion in damages. Its likely Utah would experience much of the same.
FOX 13's Dave Nemeth has the story.
