SALT LAKE CITY - Police are searching for those responsible for firing into a crowd of people near a homeless shelter downtown.
Just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, police said two men got out of a car and fired into a crowd of about 200 people on Rio Grande St. near the shelters at 225 S. and 500 W.
A shot hit one man in the shoulder; he is expected to fully recover.
Authorities said the man was not able to give them a description of the suspects.
Officials are working to get surveillance video from nearby businesses.
