LOGAN, Utah – A father accused of chaining his 6-year-old son to a bed while he went to work is expected in court Monday.
Police said 28-year-old Sammie Hodges allegedly chained his son to a bed in their Logan home back in June.
Officers said they found the boy after getting anonymous phone call.
According to police, the child was left with some snacks and water and the chain was long enough so the child could reach the bathroom.
Hodges faces four counts of child abuse.
