Man drives out of SLC dealership with stolen SUV, police say

SALT LAKE CITY -- A 21-year-old man was taken into custody after he broke into a Salt Lake City car dealership and fled the scene in a stolen SUV early

Saturday morning, according to Salt Lake City police.

At approximately 3 a.m., Jonah Antosch broke into Jerry Seiner Dealership's repair garage, located at 1530 S. 500 West, police say.

Antosch allegedly stole an SUV from the garage, drove through the garage doors then through a wrought-iron gate to get out of the dealership causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Police stopped Antosch at 1430 S. 900 West after a witness reported someone driving erratically.

Antosch was booked into Salt Lake County Jail on charges of DUI, resisting arrest, burglary, auto theft and criminal mischief.
