PONTIAC, Mich. – Authorities in Michigan arrested a man they said admitted to stealing an ambulance to go “see some pole dancing.”
According to WJBK, 50-year-old Bryan Kryscio was booked into the Oakland County jail at about 11 p.m. Sunday.
Police told WJBK they were called to McLaren Oakland Hospital after a first responder was returning a stretcher to the ambulance and saw it driving down the street.
The emergency responder said it was left unlocked and running when the man jumped inside.
Police traced the ambulance and found Kryscio inside when they pulled it over.
Authorities told WJBK Kryscio said he was on the way to the “Booby Trap,” a topless bar in Detroit, so he could “see some pole dancing.”
WJBK said Kryscio has a criminal history in Florida and Michigan.
