SALT LAKE CITY – Intermountain Donor Services came to Fox 13 with an idea to raise awareness about the need for organ donors.
From that came a series of stories about Utahns whose lives have been affected by organ donations.
Together we worked on 14 stories highlighting the need for donations and the life changes in our community, including stories of life and loss from our own Fox 13 family.
The pieces trace donors and recipients from all walks of life.
Wednesday Intermountain wanted to thank Fox 13 for the partnership and the increased awareness in Utah.
Fox 13 was honored with a tear drop that represents the tears of the families of the organ donors and the tears from those who have received the organs, the gifts of hope.
As a group we are working to bring you more stories about the precious Gift of Hope.
