PARK CITY, Utah – A skier was caught in an avalanche in Summit County Friday afternoon.
Craig Gordon with the Utah Avalanche Center says the avalanche happened in the Dutch Draw area near the Canyons Ski Resort.
Brett Kobernik with the Utah Avalanche Center tweeted Friday that a skier triggered the avalanche, and was carried then partially buried, but was safely recovered from the avalanche.
