MORGAN COUNTY, Utah – A Utah man is behind bars after authorities said he threatened to shoot a police officer with an AK-47.
Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 27-year-old Cody Pentz at 11:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve at his mobile home on Morgan Valley Dr.
Deputies said they found him passed out with an unloaded .22 rifle.
Officers said Pentz has made threats while intoxicated before but this is the first time he has threatened police.
