WISCONSIN – A man was reportedly injured Friday night after he was attacked by a deer he had already wounded with an arrow.
The FDL Reporter in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin reports the 72-year-old man was taken to a hospital by ambulance after he was struck in the head by the doe’s leg.
The man had reportedly been out hunting with a crossbow when he wounded the doe with an arrow. He later went to track the doe, which is when the doe hit him.
Officer Jeff Bonack of the local sheriff’s office reportedly told FDL Reporter: “Apparently the man was going through some thick brush and the deer leaped out and went after him. The doe struck him in the leg with her head.”
