SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Department of Transportation is seeking the public’s help in maintaining Utah’s thousands of miles of roadways.
UDOT has created a new app where people can report problems on the road. The app, Click-n-Fix, allows motorists to report potholes, faulty traffic lights or road kill.
UDOT officials say this is more efficient than their old way of taking public reports.
“We do get a fair number of calls and email submissions but this takes it to a different level,” said Becky Parker, communications systems administrator for UDOT. “They are able to report that through their mobile device and they won't have to try to find our phone number or our website.”
The app also shows if the problem motorists are reporting has already been addressed.
