TOOELE COUNTY – Crews responded to an SUV that was burning on the side of the freeway Saturday morning, and when they arrived to fight the flames there wasn’t anyone on the scene.
Fire department officials said the SUV was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived, and now they are working to determine how the vehicle wound up where it was.
“All of that is under investigation at this point,” said Capt. Nathan Kay of the Unified Fire Department. “We’re unsure how it got here or how it started on fire, so it’s all under investigation.”
