January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month, and Sunday Doctor Bill Cosgrove, President of the Utah Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics, came to the FOX 13 News Studio to discuss HPV and cervical cancer, as well as a newly approved vaccine that is effective against more types of HPV than previous vaccines.
The new vaccine, Gardasil 9, offers protection against five more types of HPV than Gardasil--which was approved by the FDA previously.
