TAYLORSVILLE, Utah -- Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Taco Time in Taylorsville Tuesday while brandishing a knife.
Officers responded to report of an aggravated robbery at a Taco Time located at 4631 South Redwood Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said the suspect entered the restaurant, brandished a large knife and then walked behind the counter to demand money from an employee.
The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot. Police worked with K9 units in an attempt to locate the suspect but were not able to find him.
The suspect, pictured in the video above, is described as white man in his 20s who was wearing gloves, jeans and a dark hoodie. He was also wearing gray shoes and a black baseball hat, and he had a black and gray scarf covering his face. Police said the man should be considered armed and dangerous, and they said they believe he has committed other robberies in the Taylorsville area.
