Couple arrested after high-speed chase, crashing car in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah - Two suspects are behind bars after running from police and crashing their car overnight.

Police said a West Jordan officer tried to pull over a couple near 3500 W. and 7800 S. just before midnight.

However, instead of stopping, the man and woman sped off and led police on a high-speed chase.

Authorities said the man had felony warrants out for his arrest.

Investigators said the man crashed the car near 7788 S. and 1000 W.

Both suspects are now facing charges for running from officers.
