LEHI, Utah – One person is in the hospital with serious injuries after a four-vehicle accident in Lehi Monday morning.
The Utah Highway Patrol said a red Geo was rear-ended by another car which caused it to lose control near NB I-15 at the SR-92 exit.
The red Geo then hit a truck, bounced off and then hit the semi, getting stuck under the dial tires on the driver’s side of the truck.
The semi dragged the Geo a few hundred feet before it stopped.
The 30-year-old man driving the Geo was taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Officials said this accident caused multiple other wrecks.
The three left lanes are closed and traffic is stopped at SR-73 in Lehi.
Authorities said they expect multiple lanes to be closed for hours.
