SALT LAKE CITY -- The winning numbers for the Powerball Jackpot valued at an estimated $500 million were announced Wednesday night.

The winning numbers are: 11, 13, 25, 39, 54 and the "Powerball" is 19.

Dreams of a half a billion dollars was enough to get many Utahns headed to nearby states for their chance at the Powerball Jackpot.

FOX 13 News found Utahns from all over northern Utah who made their way to Evanston, Wyoming. They all said with a jackpot this big, they had to give themselves a chance.

There were long lines at the Maverik in Evanston as people filled up on more than just gas. The customers, many from Utah, bought their winning numbers.

Those we talked to say they're not regular Powerball players, but with a jackpot this high, all they need is one ticket for $2.

Dale Brackett from Salt Lake City said, "You can't win if you don't play."

Sandi Hodges from Tooele explained, "We were actually just sitting at home, my husband's like, 'It's up to 500,' so I'm like, 'Well let's go.'"

Chances of winning are 175,000,000 to one, but that didn't dampen their confidence. Cynthia Giles drove from Spanish Fork and said she thinks her chances of winning the jackpot are, "150 percent," as she laughed at the thought.

The ticket machine worked nonstop, and so did the cashiers.

Myndi Jones told FOX13, "It has been crazy busy. It's nuts. We've done at least six grand or so or more. I have not left my station once."

The big question was what they will do if they win the Powerball jackpot? Almost everyone we asked said they would take a vacation, pay off their debts and help their family.

Though the jackpot is estimated at $500 million the cash value is roughly $337.8 million. If no one wins the jackpot Wednesday night, the next drawing is Saturday, February 14.
