CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A video showing what riders will see when they board the Fury 325 roller coaster was released Wednesday, and the footage shows the first test run of what is reportedly the world’s tallest and fastest giga coaster.
Fury 325 will open this spring at an amusement park called Carowinds in North Carolina, and FOX 13 News sister stationFOX 8 reports the giga coaster stands 325 feet tall and has an initial drop of 81-degrees that reaches speeds up to 95 mph. A giga coaster is the term for roller coasters that have a height or drop that ranges between 300 and 399 feet and completes a full circuit.
