Golden eagle hit by car recovering thanks to deputy and Utah DWR

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah - A golden eagle that was hit by a car is now on the road to recovery with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources thanks to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff J. Martinez said a deputy helped capture the injured bird and get it to safety Thursday.

Fox 13 is working to find out the eagle's condition from the Utah DWR.
