Utah officials urging water conservation, concerned about snowpack

SALT LAKE CITY – City officials are urging residents to use water wisely since Utah still doesn’t have  enough water filling the reservoirs.

Water managers said they are concerned about the snow pack this year.

The good news is, the city has a long history of diversified water supply in water sheds, local streams and ground water.

Officials said no shortage is expected this year but they caution it could be coming in the near future.

City officials said residents should continue to conserve water and wait to water lawns.
