SALT LAKE CITY – A flight on the way to Vancouver had to make an emergency landing in Salt Lake City overnight.

Officials said an American Airlines flight from Arizona got a warning from the hydraulics system shortly after takeoff.

According to authorities, the hydraulics system moves flaps and works to slow the aircraft.

The pilot requested a priority landing at Salt Lake International Airport as a precaution and touched down without any trouble.

Crews inspected the plane and the 130 passengers were moved to another flight.
