SALT LAKE CITY – Two stabbing victims were found outside a Salt Lake City apartment complex and now police are investigating.
It happened at the City Front Apartments at 641 W. North Temple at about 2 a.m.
Someone at the complex called 911 saying they found a man on the ground bleeding.
Once police arrived, they discovered the man had a pretty significant stab wound to his neck.
As they were rushing to get medical care for him, they also realized that there was potentially another victim.
The first victim gave them a bit of information and then followed a blood trail to a nearby unit.
That’s where they found a second man, suffering from significant injuries.
Police said alcohol may have been a factor, which is why they haven’t been able to piece everything together yet.
Salt Lake Police Lt. Craig Gleason said, “The alcohol and the injury slowed down our ability to speak with them.”
Officials said they believe both men will survive at this time.
Both men are recovering in the hospital.
