Elder L. Tom Perry, also an apostle for the LDS Church, was hospitalized last week. The 92-year-old was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

Elder Perry was released from the hospital last week. Officials say he remains at home where he is receiving General Authority visitors and conducting church business.

Elder Scott and Elder Perry are both members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in the LDS Church.
