It seems to happen like clockwork.
Every year at about this time, the temperatures go up and so do the motorcycle accidents.
Officials are now warning drivers after the spike in motorcycle vs. car wrecks with the most recent one Thursday morning.
Just the past few days have been dangerous and even deadly for Utah riders.
Days ago a Jeep Wrangler and a motorcycle collided; the biker was wearing a helmet which minimized his injuries.
Then Wednesday night a an SUV and motorcycle crashed in Salt Lake City leaving the rider with road rash but no serious injuries.
But two other riders were not as fortunate earlier this week including a 23-year-old man killed on his bike in Ogden.
Officers said they hope these accidents will serve as a warning and remind drivers to be extra alert.
The biker in Thursday morning's accident is expected to make a full recovery and the other driver may be cited.
Police said the best piece of protective gear you can wear is a helmet and strongly encourage all riders to wear one.
