Kids in Woods Cross enjoy aquatic activities as rain-fueled pond pops up in park

WOODS CROSS, Utah -- Kids in a Woods Cross neighborhood took advantage of a local park's features Wednesday after rainfall in the area created a pop-up pond.

City planners said Clover Dell Park park, located at 2175 South 1550 West, is designed to function as a drainage basin for the area, so the aquatic addition is all part of the plan. They said there are no instances of unexpected flooding or damages in connection with the rainfall Wednesday.
