OGDEN, Utah – An excavation worker is recovering after he was trapped in a trench collapse Thursday afternoon.
Weber Fire officials were called about the collapse near 5600 Dominion Ct. at about 1 p.m.
Officials said the trench partially collapsed which trapped the man in mud up to his chest.
Crews said the man was out by the time they arrived.
He has been taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Firefighters said he is expected to recover.
