PAYSON, Utah - Drivers on I-15 in Payson got quite a show overnight, a few horses decided to go out for a walk... on the highway.
Traffic cam to a halt at about 11:30 p.m. when about eight horses escaped the pasture and trotted onto the freeway.
It took Utah Highway Patrol almost three hours to corral all the horses; the freeway was shutdown in both directions.
The horses have been safely returned to their owner.
