SALT LAKE CITY - A Salt Lake man said he is hoping this surveillance footage of a thief stealing packages from his home will help identify the suspect.
Adam Stone and his roommate are fighting back and warning the public after their deliveries were taken from their front porch.
Stone said the brazen thief hit his house near 550 E. and 800 S. in the middle of the day.
The video shows the suspect swipe a package from a neighbor, unwrap it and toss the box before he noticed something on Stone's property.
"We realized it wasn't on the porch and I went through my security camera for the time the package was supposed to be delivered and caught this guy taking it off our porch," Stone said. "He just casually comes and sits on the porch, in broad daylight, picks it up and just shoves it in his backpack and walks off."
Salt Lake Police are investigating and said they would like to speak with anyone who might have information at (801) 799-3000.
