Oriental Salad (05.29.15)

Serves 4


2 Grilled Chicken Breast-Cut into Strips (hot or cold) can substitute salmon filet
Deep Fry in oil of your choice or pan fry FRESH Angel Hair Pasta (4oz) until golden brown in color. Cool.

Handful of lettuces of your choice / cut into 1” pieces place on 4 plates

Add a fourth of the room temp, deep fried pasta over the lettuce layer

Add the protein of your choice on top of the pasta.

Dress salad with cold dressing below

Garnish with:

More pickled ginger
1T Chives
½ t Toasted Sesame Seeds

Dressing (will hold in refrigerator for several weeks):
1 Shallots-Finely Diced
1 T Sesame Seed Oil
Sauté Shallots in Sesame Seed Oil

6oz. Seasoned/Sweetened Rice Vinegar
1T Honey
2 t. Dijon Mustard
2 T Julianne Pickled Ginger

Whisk in

1/2 Cup Olive Oil
