Millcreek, Utah – Police are investigating the death of a man who was found shot in a Millcreek apartment Friday evening.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old Gildardo Toledo, was house sitting at Parkway Commons Apartments, 875 West Meadowbrook Expressway, while his daughter and his daughter’s mother were out of down.
When Toledo’s family was unable to get in contact with Toledo, they called his child’s mother — she then sent a family member to the apartment where Toledo’s body was discovered.
“It appears he was a victim of a shooting,” said Lt. Justin Hoyal with Unified Police.
Hoyal added it appears Toledo had been deceased for a few days.
