TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – Officials said children are to blame for a small brush fire in Taylorsville Monday night.
Authorities said kids were playing with steel wool along the banks of the Jordan River trail when they lit an area of brush on fire.
A steel bridge in the area helped stop the fire from spreading and crews were able to contain the fire in a matter of minutes.
Officials have not said if any charges will be filed in this case.
