HOLLADAY, Utah – A Utah man is behind bars after officers say he threatened a neighbor with a crossbow and then broke out the windows of his own home while taunting officers to kill him.

Deputies said they were called to a home in Holladay Sunday near 4500 S. and 2300 E. after a victim said Brad Robert Lindsey pointed a loaded crossbow at his chest and told him to “walk back 10 paces or I’ll put this bolt in your chest.”

The victim told authorities he was on Lindsey’s front porch during the altercation.

He said he walked backwards a few steps and then ran back to his house.

Officers said Lindsey came out of his house again with the crossbow while they were talking to the victim.

One of the officers tried to talk to Lindsey but he went back inside, blacked out the house and then began breaking out his windows while yelling at officers to kill him through the broken glass.

At that point Millcreek authorities were called to the home.

Authorities said they saw Lindsey loading his crossbow through the broken windows and then point it at officers several times.

Special Operations was called in and Lindsey was arrested.

He is now facing charges for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
