Officials seek input on Jordan River Management Plan

Posted

The Jordan River runs more than 50 miles from Utah Lake to the Great Salt Lake in the north. At the center of the Salt Lake valley the river is both a recreational waterway and a natural habitat.

That's part of the reason the state is looking at developing a comprehensive management plan for the river.

Jason Curry with the State Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands was in studio to talk about the river and opportunities the public has to provide input into the plan.
