SALT LAKE COUNTY - Authorities have confirmed the identity of a woman whose body was found in a suitcase along I-80 near Saltair.
Officials said it is that of Susana Villalavazo-Jiminez of Las Vegas.
Investigators used DNA to confirm the identity as the woman who had been reported missing in Las Vegas.
Road workers originally found the decomposed body in a ditch near Saltair back in April.
Police said the only suspect in her disappearance was her step-father who killed himself when police contacted him two days after Villalavazo-Jiminez went missing.
Authorities said they have closed the case and the family of Villalavazo-Jiminez has been notified.
