CHICAGO -- Most people who live in Chicago know you don't eat at Ed Debevic's for the friendly service. A family from Iowa learned that the hard way -- and they got plenty of laughs while doing it.
Their waitress, Cherry, was just doing her job -- but the video has since gone viral, racking up 4 million views.
In the video, Cherry scolds the family for their food choices and attempts to order from the children's menu. She told the family she would probably get fired if she provided polite service.
“If I was nice to you, I’d get canned,” she says. “If you want good service, you go somewhere else. I know Hooters is probably more your speed... but you came here on purpose.”
Kryssie "Cherry" Ridolfi joined WGN Morning News for an interview on Tuesday.
"They totally were in on it," Ridolfi told WGN. "They were firing at me as soon as they walked in the door."
Ridolfi said she loves tables that interact with her. She also said she has no idea why this video has been viewed so many times.
"I have been filmed and photographed almost every shift for the past 11 years," Ridolfi said. "Now, almost 4 million views."
