CARBON COUNTY, Utah — Verizon Wireless Cell Service was restored after going down for several hours throughout Carbon County, officials reported Tuesday.
The service was reported down at about 1 p.m. Verizon officials say the problem was with equipment at one of their contractors, Western Fiber Network.
They did not specify what that problem was.
Despite the downed phone line, county officials say, residents were still able to call 911.
