- 2 teaspoons finely ground coffee
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 steaks (1-1/2 lbs.), any cut
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Mix the first 5 ingredients together with salt and pepper. Coat the steak with the rub. Press into meat. On a greased grill or oil coasted, large frying pan up to medium high heat, cook the steaks for 5-6 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches about 145 degrees for medium rare. Cook to desired doneness. Cooking time varies based on thickness of steaks. Allow to rest for 10 minutes. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
