NEW YORK CITY - A 54-year-old woman is taking her 12-year-old nephew to court for $127,000... over a hug.
Jennifer Connell told the New York Daily News her life has been "very difficult" since he broke her wrist more than four years ago.
She claims a "leaping hug" at the child's eighth birthday party it to blame.
Connell said she had just arrived at her nephew, Sean Tarala’s, birthday party in Westport, Connecticut, when the 50-pound boy ran and jumped into her arms.
She said the pair fell to the ground and she broke her wrist.
