Adorable puppy adopted by director after making impression during FOX 13 segment

SALT LAKE CITY — The Humane Society of Utah regularly brings animals into the FOX 13 News Studio in the hopes it will help them find the furry friends a home, but one adorable puppy featured Wednesday didn’t have to go far to find a new owner.

After the 3-month-old dog, which was transferred to the Humane Society from another shelter, appeared on FOX 13’s afternoon newscast, Director Dan Hardman decided he couldn’t let his chance to adopt the adorable puppy pass him by.

So, by the time Live at Four rolled around, Dan had gone through with the process to adopt the dog, which he named "Cali." So, we brought Cali back on set after the weather forecast Wednesday evening. See the videos above and below for Cali's on-set appearances, and check out the photo gallery above for images of Cali hanging out with the FOX 13 News crew.
