It’s one of those things that many people put off to the last minute, buying new tires or snow tires, especially considering temperatures were hovering near 50 just a week ago.
When the weather suddenly changed, it caught many Utahns off guard.
The snow started falling, the slide offs and accidents began piling up and many were making a mad dash to the nearest tire store.
The folks at Big O Tire in Murray said people were lined up before they opened the store at 7:30 a.m. Monday.
If you still need snow tires, this lull in the snow storm pattern would be a good time to get them.
