MIDVALE, Utah – Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Midvale sandwich shop.
Officers said two employees were closing Moochie’s Meatballs and More near 77th S. and State St. when the suspect pointed a gun at them and demanded cash.
“It just really pisses me off that some lowlife would just come in and do that,” co-owner Mac Donald. “I mean, if somebody was hungry and they needed money for food, well we would just feed them. But to come in and point a gun at people’s face, it’s not acceptable.”
Authorities said when the suspect pulled out the weapon, a bullet fell out and was left behind.
A forensics team is running tests on it and checking for fingerprints.
Police said the suspect is described as a man in his late 20s who left in a black Honda.
Unified Police would like to speak with anyone who might have information in this case.
