SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah - Unified officers have raided three local computer and gaming stores as part of an internet gambling investigation.

Investigators raided the Mouse Pad Business Center in Midvale Thursday morning as well as two other locations in Kearns and Salt Lake City.

Officers went to the managers of each store with search warrants at 10 a.m. after an 18-month undercover sting operation.

Authorities said the complaints against the businesses came from neighbors who reported various criminal activity including drug use.

Unified officers have not confirmed how many people were arrested, if any, at this time.

However, they said they seized numerous computer and other evidence that will show if the allegations are true.

One customer told Fox 13 the center is nothing more than a computer store and a place for people to socialize but officers said that is not the case.
