SALT LAKE CITY — Double check your Powerball tickets, Utahns. The Wyoming Lottery Corp. reports three jackpots of $50,000 coming out of last night’s drawing.
Details of where the winning tickets were sold was not immediately available but Wyoming Lottery said statewide, $550,000 in prizes came from the Wednesday night drawing.
Anecdotally, businesses in the border town of Evanston have seen a spike in lottery ticket sales — presumably from Utahns driving across the state line to purchase tickets.
