Utah native and pro skier Angel Collinson is now explaining what it was like tumbling more than 1,000 feet down a mountain in Alaska last spring.Skier Alaska Mountain Angel

Collinson told Fox News Wednesday she had two sprained fingers and some bruising but those were the only injuries she got in the fall.

She said she tried to stop herself but know she had too much momentum so she protected her head with her arms until it was over.

Teton Gravity Research posted the video on YouTube and said Collinson was skiing in a dark couloir in Alaska when the snow suddenly took a turn for the worse, flipped her onto her back and straight into a steep, massive tumble.
