OGDEN, Utah – An injured bald eagle being treated for broken bones and head injuries at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah is getting a bit of extra help from a little girl in Ogden.

The center posted on its Facebook page about the donation that meant so much.

“Alle of Ogden” donated 43 cents and a precious note that reads, “I wat too help you fly.”

Officials said a Wyoming couple found the 8.5-pound male now called #030.

The center expects it will take four to six weeks for the eagle to recover.
