If Facebook "likes" were votes, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson would be winning in Utah, according to "The Facebook Primary" on FiveThirtyeight.com.

Matthew Conlen and Reuben Fischer-Baum published a recent article that shows which presidential hopeful is winning in each state, according to their "likes" on Facebook.

All the blue you see is for Carson; he dominates Utah on Facebook despite really being fifth or sixth  in most traditional polls.

Bernie Sanders is purple and has Salt Lake, Summit and Grand counties.

Trump is yellow and the leader in eastern counties like Duchesne, Uintah and Carbon.

He is also winning in central Utah's Sevier County.
