SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah -- Video submitted to FOX 13 by Regan Sinclair shows ice piling up on the shore of Utah Lake in Saratoga Springs Thursday.
Chief Meteorologist Brett Benson said the phenomenon occurs when wind gusts push the ice on the surface of the lake up against the shore, where the frozen piles collect and grow upward. See the video above for the footage.
