Bill for homeless funding is released

Posted

SALT LAKE CITY — A bill that provides money for homeless services has been filed in the Utah State Legislature.

House Majority Whip Francis Gibson, R-Mapleton, is running House Bill 436, which provides funding for homeless services. It is not the $27 million ask sought by Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County’s mayors, but provides millions in funding over several years.
