EDEN, Utah – A Utah man’s hobby is now his passion.
Simon Beck specializes in making ornate snow murals with only one tool, his snowshoes.
He makes his mountainous masterpieces at Powder Mountain Resort. 
The one in the video is called “40,000 steps on a mountain.”
Beck said it is because he takes about 5,000 steps per hour to make these.
He said this started as just fun but ended up taking up most of his time.
Beck said the murals take at least one day to complete.
He said to really see them in all their glory, you have to take to the skies.
